Washington DC In-Home Tutoring
Educational Connections has more than 100 highly qualified Washington DC area tutors who provide one-to-one tutoring in all subjects, from kindergarten to college. We provide each student with an individualized plan that meets his or her unique needs. Each student's personality and learning styles are carefully considered and matched with the tutor who can provide the most effective, helpful, and enriching experience. The ultimate result is a customized in-home tutoring experience designed to maximize success and enhance the learning process. Our Washinton DC in-home tutors service students across DC, Northern Virgina and Maryland.
Educational Coaching
Our trademarked Educational Coaching Process trains Washington DC area tutors to address weaknesses in study skills, organization, and time management. Many students with Executive Functioning deficits and/or ADHD benefit from the assistance of an Educational Coach. We help parents and students to alleviate homework stress, improve communication with teachers, and make education a rewarding experience.
SSAT
As an official test site for the SSAT, we offer both national and private test dates. This standardized test is an application requirement for many private schools. Students choosing to take their SSAT at Educational Connections will have scored reported to the school(s) of their choice within three weeks.
Test Prep
We offer a variety of test prep services to help students prepare for standardized tests. Our tutors work one-to-one reviewing both content and test taking strategies with students. Diagnostic practice tests, hourly tutorial sessions, and more extensive test prep packages are available. Based on the results of practice tests and student/parent input, qualified and specialized Math and Verbal tutors are selected.
