I have good news to report. Ashley will be going to Flint Hill for 9th grade. It was her first choice. I thank you Laura for scheduling Tina as Ashley's tutor. I especially want to thank you Tina for all of your help and suggestions and your close working with Ashley. I know she benefited. Good luck to both of you.
Again thanks,
Ron B.
I just had to drop you a note to let you know that Alexis was accepted in the Biomedical Research Program we were going after. Her scores were high enough that they accepted her packet. She is on the road to becoming the doctor she wants to be. I just wanted to say thank you for your flexibility in allowing her to take the test as fast as we requested it. We were on a very tight deadline and could not have done this w/o you. You see, that test was the deal breaker for her getting into the program and no other educational/testing facility was willing to work w/ our short deadline. So your flexibility was appreciated.

She has been my 8th grade daughter's tutor now for a year. Angela obviously loves teaching and her enthusiasm for math is exactly what I was looking for. My daughter looks forward to her time with Angela because she is so good at explaining problem-solving methods and strategies that are easy to remember. I love the fact that whenever my daughter gets a problem wrong or seems confused, Angela never just gives her the answer; she instead leads her on a "pathway" to solving the problem correctly, which has helped tremendously to build my daughter's confidence.
Sincerely,
Tina G.
Greetings Ann Dolin,
We wanted to express our appreciation for the superior service we received at Educational Connections, Inc. We have used other testing centers, but we were impressed with your courteous employees and the comfortable environment in the center.
Thanks to Laura Rheinauer's advice, we were able to plan the logistics of our son's SSAT test and help him prepare for it in a timely manner. Laura's knowledge and caring nature put everyone at ease.
We will definitely use Education Connections, Inc. in the future and recommend it to our friends.
Sincerely,
Naoko and Michael S.
Alex was having some real difficulties reading and we asked you for an assessment. You concluded that Alex was dyslexic and also suggested there may be some other learning disabilities. You recommended we have him privately tested and you arranged for a tutor work with Alex on his reading. His evaluation concluded that Alex had ADD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia. Alex continued to work with his tutor and also had some great teachers at his elementary school. Over the last 4 or 5 years, Alex has really blossomed into a fine student. He consistently brings home A's and B's and scores very well on his standardized tests. He occasionally still struggles with organizational issues, but overall, he is extremely diligent about completing his homework assignments. At his most recent Parent Teacher conference, his teacher told us that Alex was in the highest reading group in the entire 6th grade. As I am sure you can appreciate, this is a remarkable achievement. We are so proud of him and he is very proud of himself. The progress he has made over these past five years has really helped him become a happy and confident young man. Thank you for pointing us in the right direction so many years ago. Ann, thanks again for all of the help and guidance you and your tutors have provided to our family over the past several years. You have greatly contributed to my son's success!

Just had to let you know: Meredith got an 87 (B ) on her Biology chapter test!!!!!! She is still floating about 9 ft. in the air. Thank you so much for saving our girl. She has gone from an F and a slim chance of being able to return to this school next year to a B . “Thank you” will never convey how much we appreciate your help and what you’ve done for Meredith. She never could have achieved this without your help and your ability to help her understand. You are the best – bless you!

Sage has been tutoring our daughter in reading whose Lexile Reading score went from 901 on September 18 to 114 on February 5th and her percentile rank went from 53% to 86%. Perhaps more importantly, she doesn't fight so hard in reading and even reads for pleasure, albeit occasionally. Sage immediately connected with our daughter had great insight into her strengths and weaknesses and has tried a number of different ideas to boost her confidence as well as get the reading skills down. We are eternally grateful for all she has done and for you for sending her to us. I think Sage will prove to be that great teacher that most of us remember all our lives.

I cannot thank you enough for matching Harry and Bill. He came on Monday, and sat down with Harry (and I was there too) and just spent time getting to know Harry and letting Harry get to know him a bit. I could tell that Harry was starved for that kind of interest and understanding. It was perfect! Two interesting stories to tell you. First - before Bill arrived, both my kids were worked up about their homework. But there was something about his calm manner that permeated throughout the house, and the whole home was in a better place after he left. Even my daughter - who wasn't part of the discussion - was able to settle in and study for her bio test. Second, after Bill left, Harry asked "how did you arrange all of that behind my back"? I mention that because I truly think Harry felt he had been given a present/a gift - and he liked it so much that he wondered how we could keep it to ourselves.
Thanks again.
